Hello, I use git to track changes to large book-length text files, so I am constantly moving lines, blocks of lines, even whole chapters around.
It would be quite nice if I could do git diff and see only lines that were either changed, added, or deleted, but not the lines that were simply moved to another location in the file. I suspect a filter script is what I needed and I'm hoping maybe somebody has one? Thank you for any help.
