Hi Soumya,

Git tries to avoid having small bugs ;-) However it does have a [number of] list of various ideas for improvement. In particular Git has participated in the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) for a few years so has a few 'getting started ideas via https://git.github.io/SoC-2019-Ideas/ (search the link for onward links.

There are also all the open (and some closed) items on the Git for Windows project (https://github.com/git-for-windows/git/issues), if you are happy on Windows...  (are you?)

Do look at the Git List g...@vger.kernel.org archive at https://public-inbox.org/git/?q= and checkout how to be added to the cc list (via 'majordomo')
