Thanks muchly for the link to https://public-inbox.org/git - very helpful. Sounds like the (ongoing?) trace2/JSON conversation is unearthing some CI-related issues, so perhaps I'll check back later (or maybe investigate how some utiltiy might fit into contrib, to side-step CI complications)?
