I've done more testing and with a PULL I get more information on what is
deleted and renamed:
example:(snip)
8 files changed . . .
rename PDS/{ABC => DEF} (100%)
delete mode 100000 PDS/XYZ
That is what I was/am hoping to find with a Merge.
