Background: The purpose is to find out which implementation works faster when network and process creation overheads are removed from the environment, i.e, we intend to use a benchmarking framework to test which one is faster.
Issue: Numbers can be wrong, and my benchmark shows that git-fetch with *jgit is faster* than cli-git which seems unlikely. I would like to ask the domain experts to weigh-in on this result, is this *possible*? I believe my benchmark is doing something wrong. Environment: JHM benchmark on IntelliJ v2019.3.3, MacOS v10.15.2 with 8GB memory and 4 cores. Any kind of suggestion would be appreciated!
