Ah app password, thanks, I have to think about it, but I don't see my
student managing that.

Right now I think I will recommend gitlab....
For which I have this other problem (and you provided a fix)

(I might be wrong, but I am talking about students
whom I tell don't use the moodle message system, please use your email,
then I either receive moodle message (oh this is not email) or from
their private account (and the SPAM filter of the university puts it in
my SPAM folder etc etc;)
