As you cannot say "git pull refspecs...", the above might be more
clear if you spelled it like this instead:

        if (repo) {
                argv_array_push(&args, repo);
                argv_array_pushv(&args, refspecs);
        } else if (*refspecs) {
                die("BUG: refspec without repo?");
        }
