michaelpearce-gain edited a comment on issue #2944: ARTEMIS-2602 Improve Journal loading heap usage URL: https://github.com/apache/activemq-artemis/pull/2944#issuecomment-575677832 @franz1981 i would add the lib as a library/new dependency as its available as a fair small jar in maven with not much dependency, the main reasons we didnt do that with the collection we borrowed from bookeeper was that it wasn;t nicely seperated code it was with the rest of bookeeper and also came with a nasty amount of dependency tree, also we had to make some fixes
