With the current AI models finding CVEs every 5 minutes we can't ship 6.3.0 with a version of spring that is already end of life. Spring 7.x officially bumps to Jakarta 11 so there is really no choice. We could try and just stay at EE 9 or EE 10 and still bump spring and hope it doesn't break (it may not, depends on the apis used) but that is risky -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
