Agree with @ayushtkn that, only if purge is set to false, then we can ignore the delete permissions on the external table path. For storage-based handler tables, we still need to authorize the storage_uri(URL of external data source) but we can still ignore the external table path if purge is set to false. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
