So if the server requires server-side planning and the client property is unset, Iceberg returns a `RESTTable` while Hive skips the marker and plans locally from manifests. `overlayTableProperties` already loads the table from the catalog; could the marker be set based on what Iceberg resolved there (the loaded table being a server-planning `RESTTable`, gated by the kill switch) instead of re-reading the client property? Note: - the server's mode is per table, so the marker would need to be keyed per table rather than per catalog; - `RESTTable` is package-private, so this probably needs a small helper (e.g. in patched-iceberg-core) or a class-name check for now. - the per-table marker can simply go into the per-table job properties in `overlayTableProperties` (`addSplitsForGroup` copies those into the conf before that table's `getSplits`); `configureJobConf` writes to the shared JobConf, so there it would need to be keyed by table identifier or dropped. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
