The extra pixel indeed could be a solution for the case where linewrap should not even happen (as in the original 2 pictures of the issue).
The preferred behaviour I was looking happens under the condition where the old line is already to long for the current editor window (1st picture of my previous comment, line 80 needs 2 rows). As can be seen from the 2nd picture of the previous commit the overlay does not show the full line, worse even, the overlay overshoots the editor window. My expectation is that the overlaybar will wrap when needed (for instance to stay inside the editor window), a bit like the next (edited) image:  Hope this makes my intention a bit more clear. -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
