Hi Adam, Thanks for alias, although I think I have hit on the issue and I don't believe it is a char issue or special char issue at all.
So after further testing I can 100% confirm it does not happen under linux but is happening on my setup for windows7. (( I don't believe its memory issue the laptop has 16GB and it happens even when nothing else is running i.e. tones of memory free )) I can recreate this with using yes and random lines of "1" within the file to at least 265 MB, I set the file to 300MB on the test - So believe there is some limit I am hitting i.e. size of file or number of lines, words of chars.. Lines : 4517796 Words : 31143087 Characters : 267830878 It would be grand if someone else could test on windows as I don't have another windows laptop.
