Hi Guys, 

Just focusing on entering text rather than copy n paste.

So I create a file like the following and move it to windows :

filecount=0
while [[ $filecount -lt 1 ]] ; do
filesize=$RANDOM
filesize=$(($filesize+300000000))
yes 
"111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111
11111111111111111111111111111 
111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111"  | head -c  
$filesize" > /home/daz/file_${filecount}.$RANDOM
((filecount++))
done`

I then within Geany type a number of "1's" 7 to 10 times and everything locks 
up.

Doing the same process within SciTE does lock SciTE up.
