Thinking about it some more, since `su` is a Linux thing, and on Linux the 
thing in the config is a link, not the actual socket which is a tempfile 
somewhere.  Removing the link won't affect the other Geany, just nobody will be 
able to communicate with it after that since they can't find the temp file.

@b4n, but a better idea might be to include the effective UID in the socket 
link name.  Then it won't matter.
