Please place the following in an otherwise empty Perl file and try using Ctrl-B to match the brackets?
($a->@*)
On Geany 1.32, Kubuntu 18.04 the normally very helpful bracket matching
capability fails.
($a->%*)
also demonstrates this behavior. Both expressions are syntactically correct
Perl.
