Just curious, did you try the official Prof-Gnome theme or the modified version I use for macOS builds: https://github.com/geany/geany-osx/tree/master/Prof-Gnome/gtk-3.0 ? If you have time, could you post a screenshot of how (the modified Prof-Gnome) looks like on your machine?
