@nyamatongwe the intention was to simply remove the code you pointed at by removing the #if [here](https://github.com/geany/geany/blob/607fcec1fa5aff005090fbda17280976dcee68c8/scintilla/gtk/ScintillaGTK.cxx#L2001) and the else clause so it uses what is currently apple only code on all platforms.
