Thats because the [groovy filetype file](https://github.com/geany/geany/blob/master/data/filedefs/filetypes.Groovy.conf) does not [define them](https://github.com/geany/geany/blob/06b8e6b1c9c73636906d23d2c272d85dabc0ff56/data/filedefs/filetypes.c#L56). Pull requests are welcome.
