I'm fairly new to git, and am at the moment at a point I'd like to play with
branches. In a small project I'm working on, I'd like to pursue two versions
from the project with different implementations of the communications, and a
common data generation part...

I thought it'd be a good opportunity to try out branches, even if the project
might not justify it.

Strangely enough, even though git branches are touted as one of git's best
features, geanyvc doesn't seem to mention branches anywhere, and I seem to find
no references on branches being manageable from the Geany GUI. Am I wrong here
(maybe the solution is just too evident)?
