techee left a comment (geany/geany#4298) It's strange that you can reproduce this issue with the git version of Geany as https://github.com/geany/geany/pull/4071 was supposed to fix this issue. Are you sure you are not starting Geany that comes with your linux distro? What version does Help->About say?
