DocSalvager created an issue (geany/geany#4441) Unlike the text search and line number boxes in the toolbar, the Symbols search icon at the top right of the Sidebar does not activate the cursor in the field when clicked. This has resulted in me forever erroneously entering text in the editor that was intended to be the Symbols text to search for.
