**Is your feature request related to a problem or challenge? Please describe what you are trying to do.** I think it is time to make some small improvements to the top-level README. I am going to put up a proposed PR but would like to get feedback from the community. **Describe the solution you'd like** - I would like to list all the file formats we support.
