Thanks for clarifying Arrow scalars, I was under the wrong impression they were strictly for primitive types and not composite types. An Arrow scalar as a single item/element in any `Array` (`ListArray` included) makes sense to me. With that in mind, and following the lead from pyarrow, the corresponding scalar variants would be: * `ScalarValue::List(Vec<ScalarValue>)` * `ScalarValue::LargeList(Vec<ScalarValue>)` In the scope of this pull request, I would need to add `ScalarValue::LargeList` (I opted for a `LargeListArray` instead of a `List`). No changes to `state()` necessary.
