Hi all, I've created a bug on Jira here with more details and a sample program: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARROW-17573. I wanted to share here so others can more easily come across it should they run into the same issue. If this is not a bug any pointers for how to properly build arrow records with BinaryTypes, and then write to parquet using the PQArrow package would be appreciated.
