My understanding is that it's an initialization-read leak that is not easy to avoid properly. The reason it appeared in dataset is probably because dataset loads data from multiple threads, and OpenSSL can need extra care from the application to release per-thread memory (see the NOTES section in https://www.openssl.org/docs/man3.1/man3/OPENSSL_cleanup.html).
