This is not on the roadmap. A PR would be welcome. (A Go implementation may make sense over a C/C++ one, but in either case we are still trying to overhaul the existing drivers to have some common framework instead of duplicating most of the core logic, so right now we are not working on new backends yet.) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
