I think it would be good to better document the Extend trait. I think if we do proceed with this, we'd need to keep the member functions as well, so people don't have to import the trait - as it stands this PR is a breaking change. That being said, I'd personally be inclined to not add this, but it has been suggested before so people clearly have difficulty finding Extend.
