I have promising results -- a hacked up local version on my branch shows 3-9x improvements when disabling array validation https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs/pull/7093#issuecomment-2642999801 Basically: 1. disabling validation gives a 3x performance improvement 2. using mmap gives another 3x (for a total of 9x) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
