I'm in favor of truncating by default now that the statistics have the `exact` flags. I know some who have in the past relied on the statistics using actual values. Looks like parquet-java uses 64 for the column index, but by default leaves binary values in `Statistics` alone. 128 there seems reasonable to me. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
