@lscheilling are you able to pin your PyArrow version to <21.0.0 or are there features in 21.0.0 you need? I think it's hard for us as open source maintainers to plan around a distro that repeatedly moves their EOL date like this. It's unfortunate that [dropping support for manylinux2014](https://github.com/apache/arrow/issues/46959) happened within a single release as it didn't give us a chance to do much press about it. @pitrou as we work on https://github.com/apache/arrow/issues/46002, I wonder if we could include language about spreading support changes out over a few releases, similar to how we do for code deprecations (e.g., announce dropping a platform n-2 releases out in release blog post, drop platform in release n). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
