Given that it's not a part of the standard, there is no reason to copy
another library, is there? worst case it is possible to rename it so that there
is no confusion.
On the flag mention, @lidavidm :
instead of a flag, you can simply do the following:
if autocommit is disabled, just dont commit. No reason to 'auto'commit if
it's not enabled
