My preference would be to use/leverage an interface rather than add another dependency to arrow-go if possible. Perhaps even add a corresponding golang repo in the `geoarrow` github org which could then have a dependency on go-geom etc. which interacts with interfaces defined here -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
