Meanwhile we refactored the build system https://github.com/apache/arrow/pull/49259 and docstring injection script is getting refactored as well https://github.com/apache/arrow/pull/49453, let's revisit https://github.com/apache/arrow/issues/49273 (and this PR) once https://github.com/apache/arrow/pull/49453 is merged.
