I don't believe it was ever implemented. https://github.com/apache/arrow-adbc/pull/1521 is still in draft. There's also the matter of Dewey's comment; we are working on https://github.com/apache/arrow-adbc/issues/1514. I wouldn't be opposed to a `postgresql.query.numeric_type` option if someone wants to take a crack at it/finish that PR.
