update here is I think we have all the planned content for this release
other than
- https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs-object-store/pull/710
I also did some testing downstream with arrow and datafusion here:
- https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs/pull/10156
- https://github.com/apache/datafusion/pull/23005
And the API updates are minimal (though definitely still breaking)
I am just waiting for CI to complete and will merge once that is complete
