@MassivePizza should we be pursuing this shrink_to_fit approach (simpler) or we prefer avoiding the upfront unnecessary allocation as per https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs/pull/10483? i havent had time to look at the issue/PR in detail yet, just wanted to check here since we have two PRs for the same issue -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
