follow up is up, #11259. it rolls onto a new buffer when the current one cannot address the value, so those rows decode instead of erroring. your two commits sit underneath it, so it wants this pr merged first. the error stays for a single value longer than one whole buffer, since one view cannot span two. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
