It's taking forever for CI to run, but it seems that this change catches the issue earlier in the stack, so now an existing test is failing. (`encodings::rle::tests::test_skip_and_count_long_run`, parquet/src/encodings/rle.rs:888, check added in #11262). @HippoBaro do you think the test can be rewritten or is it no longer necessary? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
