# Which issue does this PR close? - Closes #8339 # Rationale for this change `BatchCoalescer` errors do not identify which column failed, so callers cannot tell which dictionary column needs a wider key type. # What changes are included in this PR? Errors from finalizing an in-progress column are wrapped with that column name. # Are these changes tested? A regression test uses two columns, overflows the `UInt8` dictionary in the second column, and verifies the error identifies that column. # Are there any significant user-facing changes?
