@dmitry-chirkov-dremio Good catch on the promotion overhead. I've updated the patch to compare mixed `(large_)utf8` and `utf8_view` types directly via `ScalarBinary` in both directions, reverted the `CommonBinary` promotion, and reversed the signatures in `MakeFlippedCompare` for `less`/`less_equal`.
