The clearest example is the take kernels: both `arrow/benches/take_kernels.rs` and `arrow/benches/primitive_run_take.rs` ship their own `create_random_index` with slightly different signatures. The take bench omits a `max_value` parameter (so indices are capped at `size`) while the primitive_run take bench carries one — easy to miss, and the kind of divergence we want to avoid. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
