## What's Changed `swift-actions/setup-swift@v2` does not support Ubuntu 26.04 yet ([swift-actions/setup-swift#805](https://github.com/swift-actions/setup-swift/issues/805)). GitHub-hosted `ubuntu-latest` now resolves to 26.04, so the RC **Verify** matrix fails at the Setup Swift step with: ```text Error: Version "26.04" of Ubuntu is not supported ``` This pins only the Verify job (the one that uses `setup-swift`) to `ubuntu-24.04`. Other RC jobs do not install Swift through that action and are left on `ubuntu-latest`. The regular Test workflow already runs Swift via Docker and is unaffected. Dependabot's bump to setup-swift v3 (#116) is still a beta and also fails to set up Swift on 26.04, so pinning the runner is the workable fix for now. Closes #199. ## AI assistance AI assistance was used to draft this change and PR description; the diff was reviewed before submitting. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
