Thanks for everyone's comments. I appreciate the support and quick feedback. I do think it would make a big difference to have commit rights back; as I introspect, that's what makes me personally feel the most "stalled" on doing work. I appreciate and think @kou's suggestion would work with regards to moving forward on releases.
