Yes, it is still disabled, https://github.com/apache/beam/blob/d71deb63f3e9a66065e837134cf909fa5d9119ac/sdks/python/apache_beam/options/pipeline_options.py#L1503 Internal issue has more info b/255568711 . Looks like regression happened in side inputs. overall, we should be able to increase this cache size and can look into it again.
