### What needs to happen? The self-hosted runners are currently running on Ubuntu 20.04, which is not compatible with Python 3.14 and is blocking support. The base docker image should be updated to Ubuntu 24.04 and a new runner pool should be defined to use it, then we can slowly migrate jobs over to that image. ### Issue Priority Priority: 2 (default / most normal work should be filed as P2) ### Issue Components - [ ] Component: Python SDK - [ ] Component: Java SDK - [ ] Component: Go SDK - [ ] Component: Typescript SDK - [ ] Component: IO connector - [ ] Component: Beam YAML - [ ] Component: Beam examples - [ ] Component: Beam playground - [ ] Component: Beam katas - [ ] Component: Website - [x] Component: Infrastructure - [ ] Component: Spark Runner - [ ] Component: Flink Runner - [ ] Component: Samza Runner - [ ] Component: Twister2 Runner - [ ] Component: Hazelcast Jet Runner - [ ] Component: Google Cloud Dataflow Runner -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
