I'll investigate this regression. The bisection is very helpful. Looking at the dependency diff between 2.68.0 and 2.69.0, the httpclient5 upgrade (5.4.3→5.5) is the most likely culprit — it's a transitive dependency that affects the Google auth library's HTTP transport layer. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
