@iemejia made the changes, with following mapping as per Hive, as there
are only two categories:
**Variable Length Strings:**
[`VARCHAR`, `LONGVARCHAR`, `NVARCHAR`, `LONGNVARCHAR`] -> `varchar`
**Fixed Length Strings:**
[`CHAR`, `NCHAR`] -> `char`
