Added **Addendum 2**: fixed the topology so both engines run **one executor per node**, and ran Ballista **AQE off and on**. Fair result: **Comet 0.17.0 200.5 s vs Ballista 236.2 s (AQE off, ~1.18×)** — the topology fix helped Ballista ~8% and narrowed the gap from 1.28×.
