The fs-hdfs checklist here is moot now that #4904 removed the fork and OpenDAL's libhdfs-backed HDFS support is the default, custom authentication has a JNI bridge in the S3 credential SPI from #4309, #6031 and #6223, and spark.hadoop.fs.comet.libhdfs.schemes routes any other Hadoop FileSystem through libhdfs. What remains is making the credential provider classes Spark and Hadoop already accept work without writing a bridge, which #6022 tracks, so I'm closing this in favour of that. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
